“Στην συναρπαστική και δυναμική ομιλία του κατά τη σύνοδο της ολομέλειας του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου, την Τετάρτη, με την παρουσία του Προέδρου του Ευρωπαϊκού Συμβουλίου Tusk και του Προέδρου της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής Juncker, ο αναπληρωτής ηγέτης του UKIP Paul Nuttall, κάλεσε τον ελληνικό λαό να ξεσηκωθεί και να αγωνιστεί για τα εκ γενετής δημοκρατικά του δικαιώματα.
Ο Paul Nuttall επέκρινε την αντιμετώπιση του ελληνικού λαού και προέτρεψε τους Έλληνες, να αντισταθούν σθεναρά εναντίον των αντιδημοκρατικών δυνάμεων της ΕΕ, διασφαλίζοντας έτσι ότι η κοινωνία τους θα ξαναευημερήσει και ότι η δημοκρατία θα υπερισχύσει.

Στο λαό της Ελλάδας, θα έλεγα να δείξουν κουράγιο και να προστατεύσουν τα εκ γενετής δικαιώματά τους.

Βρείτε το θάρρος και το πνεύμα των προγόνων σας.

Nuttall Transcript:I want to start the speech by quoting the Chairman of the EuroGroup Jeroen Dijssebloem who only two days ago said 'you are mistaken if you think democracy is where one election result can change the way we work in the eurozone.' Mr. Junker you also have been quoted saying that 'there can be no democratic choice against the European Union's treaties.' Well that sort of tell us all we need to know about what the euro-fanatics think of democracy. And isn't ironic that you are destroying democracy in its very cradle - Greece? You allowed Greece to enter into a currency that it should never have been in. You removed a democratically elected Prime Minister when he offered his country a way out through a referendum. You have imposed austerity that has taken the people of Greece to the brink, and yet still you shackle this great country with economic chains. To you I say: sovereignty and democracy in Greece are not yours to take. The Greeks have suffered enough. The battle lines are clear: It is the forces of the democracy in Greece against the undemocratic forces of this European Union. To the Greek Parliament, I ask will the 300 stand firm? To the people of Greece, I say be courageous and protect your birth right. You are the creators of democracy and now you must save it. Invoke the courage and spirit of your ancient forefathers. Do not buckle, do not falter and do not give in.
You are the defenders of democracy now, you are the nation of Homer, Plato and Aristotle, and if you stand your ground you will prevail and you will be a beacon of hope to us all.
